Nike+ Invites More Runners to Reach their Training Goals

Since the debut of Nike+ Coach, runners have created more than 1.75 million training programs for 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon races.

Just in time for the beginning of the summer training season, Nike+ invites more runners to reach their training goals with the Nike+ Coach feature, now available on the Nike+ Running App for iPhone and Android.

Nike+ Coach offers runners training plans for four different distances (5k, 10k, half marathon and full marathon) at three different levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced), using programs that leverage Nike's coaching heritage and insights from top runners.
Since the debut of Nike+ Coach in the iPhone app in December 2013, the Nike+ Running community has created more than 1.75 million training programs.
Whether runners are setting out on their first mile or preparing to conquer a marathon personal best, Nike+ Coach works seamlessly as part of the Nike+ Running App to deliver run workouts, cross-training recommendations and built-in recovery days. Every week Nike+ Coach compiles weekly progress reports with stats on average pace, miles logged, NikeFuel earned and total workout time completed.

The app also allows runners to share their training programs, the start of their runs and performance updates on social media.

Since its launch in 2006, Nike+ Running has provided runners the chance to track, measure, share and compare their runs with a global community, helping inspire athletes to run smarter and run more. Today, the Nike+ community includes 30 million members worldwide.
