Business news : Made in France, Solex electric bikes relocated to Saint- Lô

" From January 3000 we will manufacture electric bikes per year in Saint- Lo, in a workshop that we have to take and employs eight people ," says Easybike CEO , Gregory Trebaol , who just bought the Solex brand to another french entrepreneur Jean -Pierre Bansard , which had itself taken in 2006 from Magneti Marelli ( Fiat ) .

Electric bicycles , but no mopeds

Always according to "Le Monde" newspaper , all bikes stamped the legendary brand will not be manufactured in Saint -Lô ( Manche) , at least not right away: 70 % of production will remain in Shanghai.
