Business news : Norton motorcycles Completes New Factory Move

Norton new Factory
DONINGTON PARK, UK – September 10, 2013 – Following Norton’s purchase earlier this year of Donington Hall and Hastings House, the Norton Motorcycle factory has now fully moved from it’s old Donington park race circuit premises to the 45,000 sq ft Hastings House facility.

With increased space and an open floor plan, Norton have been able to improve the dynamic of many of it’s operations including parts flow through the building, supply chain management, quality control, sub assembly, engine build and PDI which have all had substantial benefits with the new premises and floor layout.

First bikes from the new facility have already rolled off production this week. The new facility allows for much capacity increase and enables Norton to build a strong future with it’s range of hand built British bikes.
