SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., June 3, 2014 -- Interbike and Outdoor Retailer, two of the largest retail sports product trade shows in the world, announced today that their new experiential media event highlighting women's-specific products is set to take place next week. The event will connect a limited number of cycling and outdoor product manufacturers with mainstream non-endemic journalists to test the latest in women's-specific products, in the environments in which they were intended.
Set to take place June 10-12, 2014 at the Crystal Springs Resort in Northern New Jersey, The Women's Story will feature products from key brands including superFLY, Jaybird, Dansko, Nau, Joovy, Hobie, Cannondale, Giro, Pete's and more.
Invited journalists will have an opportunity to truly understand the mechanics behind women's-specific products by riding a mountain bike on and off-road trail, and also have the opportunity to experiencing stand up paddle boarding (SUP) and fly fishing on a nearby lake, and can participate in yoga, hiking and running with gear from leading apparel and accessories companies, on the Crystal Springs Resort grounds.
