Los Angeles, Calif., June 10, 2014 – adidas Outdoor (adidas.com/outdoor),
the athletic brand in the outdoors, today announced Peter Schuster has
become its business manager of key accounts for the U.S. Schuster has
more than 20 years of experience in sales, management and marketing and
in his new position will focus on national accounts. The appointment is
effective immediately.
“Pete is a standout leader in his field and is dedicated to applying
his expertise in both sales and management to further the success of the
adidas Outdoor brand,” said Larry Harrison, adidas Outdoor U.S.
director of sales. “We are confident in his ability to create and
maintain strong relationships with retailers across the nation.”
Prior to joining the adidas Outdoor team, Schuster worked with
Oakley® Inc., as director of sales for national accounts and national
account channel sales manager for traditional sports and outdoor. For
nearly ten years, he worked for adidas® America, where he held a number
of positions, including sales director and account executive for Sports
Authority® and lead apparel sales representative in the east region.
Throughout his career, Schuster has achieved a number of professional
accomplishments including, adidas America salesperson of the year in
2010, top salesman for Browning® Safes and Security products in 2000 and
in 1999 was awarded top salesman in the country for MapTech®, Inc.
