Fitmoo Co-Founder Mick Purzycki Talks Emerging Brands at Youth Marketing Strategy Conference in NYC on May 20, 2015

Mick Purzycki, co-founder and chief business officer of Fitmoo, Inc., the first social commerce and networking platform for fitness brands, athletes and enthusiasts, will sit on the Emerging Brands Panel at the Youth Marketing Strategy (YMS) NYC conference on May 20, 2015 at the Bell House in New York City.

He will be joined by other business leaders including Rytis Vikauskas, founder and CEO of YPlan; Shelley Venus, director of video and production at Mie; Neha Gandhi, VP editorial strategy at Refinery 29; and Anna Frenkel, marketing and partnerships lead in NY for Airbnb. The panel will discuss how their new products and brands engage in youth marketing and innovation by turning the heads and gaining the loyalty of the nation’s youth.

“Fitmoo has built a first-of-its-kind social networking and commerce platform for fitness enthusiasts. Given the YMS conference’s focus on innovation, this is a perfect venue to share our best practices in this area,” said Purzycki.

Before founding Fitmoo, Purzycki established a branch of Groupon in Xi’an, China in 2011, where he fulfilled the role of general manager and head of sales. During his tenure he developed new revenue initiatives, established KPIs and commission structures, and implemented a large scale restructuring of the team and their compensation packages to make Xi’an one of the most competitive branches in the market. He went on to become a managing partner of China Strategies, LLC. Purzycki earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Chinese from University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics.
