Fountaine Pajot accelerates its investments: € 4 million for the new models and € 6 million for a new plant
Fountaine Pajot, a leading global manufacturer of cruising catamarans, announced an acceleration of its investment program to support its sustained growth.
Indeed, the excellent commercial momentum continued throughout the year 2014/2015 and was completed by a new annual growth of over 20% for the second consecutive year. Moreover, these two years, Fountaine Pajot has recruited 60 new employees.

In the range Fountaine Pajot Catamarans, the IPANEMA 58 will be exhibited for the first time alongside the HELIA 44, 50 and the SABA VICTORIA 67.
In the Motor Yacht Fountaine Pajot range, the new MY 37 will be uncovered for the first time in Cannes and the Grand Pavois in particular.
Investment products: a reinforced product offers
In addition to the 58 IPANEMA (Sailing) and MY 37 (Engine), whose sales benefit for the full year 2016, the new season will take advantage of the new 40 feet (Sailing) who has everything - new line, brightness, performance - that make the success of its big brothers, the HELIA 44, the SABA already IPANEMA 50 and 58.
Its launch is scheduled for 2016 and a further step on the catamaran market of this size being distinguished by a cockpit and a 12 m² lounge area in front of more than 3 m².
Production investments: increased capacity and concentration of resources
In line with its Sail & Power business plan 2016, the investment program is accelerated through an increase of its production capacity.
The company occupies two performance industrial sites located in La Rochelle, in the heart of the reference production area in the nautical world.
- The Rochelle site 18 000 m2, for the manufacture of large vessels, including IPANEMA 58 will be enhanced with the combination of all production motor yacht and all means of carpentry.
- The site of Aigrefeuille, for the manufacture of vessels Heart range will benefit from 6000 m2 of new industrial buildings to increase production capacity, on an enlarged production site of 23 000 m2.
With these investments and strengthened by its recent growth, Fountaine Pajot prepares for the future.
