Business people :Mike Ballardie has been named CEO of Prince Global Sports

Mike Ballardie has been named CEO of Prince Global Sports, the manufacturer of global racquet sports equipment, footwear and apparel in tennis and squash. He has been responsible for operations in the eastern hemisphere for Prince for nearly 10 years.

Prince Global Sports was formed in 2012 by an affiliate of Waitt Company to acquire select operating assets of Prince through various bankruptcy proceedings in the United States and Europe.

Dana Bradford, CEO of Waitt Company, said of Ballardie’s appointment, "“Our primary objective since the acquisition of Prince has been to align the business infrastructure and strategies with the premium brand of Prince and the needs and expectations of the company’s customers. An important step in our process has been finding the right leader for Prince Global Sports. Mike has a deep knowledge and passionate commitment to the tennis and squash industries as well as a demonstrated ability to manage Prince. He will do an exceptional job preserving and expanding the brand and business enterprise of Prince."”

Prince Global Sports is headquartered in Bordentown, NJ with offices in London, France, Holland, Germany and Taiwan. Mike Ballardie will remain based in London.
