New product : Bomber Gear Launches New Apparel Lines for Touring, SUP, and Women

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Bomber Gear today introduces new product lines that cover some of paddling’s fastest growing categories, including touring, SUP, and women’s. Long known as a creator of high-quality performance wear for whitewater paddlers, this season the brand expands into new territory to better serve a range of watersports enthusiasts, and those products are now available for purchase.

Perfect for a day on the water in a variety of conditions, Bomber Gear’s new layering line offers products for a variety of paddle excursions and weather situations. Products range from a lightweight, SUP-friendly SPF 50 rash guard in the Solar 50 line, to base layers relevant for both touring and whitewater paddling in the warm Halo 5.0 thermal layers and the Hydrogen Neoprene line, all designed to keep you protected and comfortable whether wet or dry. No matter where you go or what Mother Nature has in mind, Bomber Gear’s innovative proprietary fabrics and technologies have you covered.

Because sometimes you just need to keep the splash off without being over-dressed, Bomber Gear is also now offering the Blitz Splash line. Ideal for paddling in warmer weather, whether that be in a touring kayak, a raft, or a canoe, the men’s and women’s Blitz Splash Top and Blitz Splash Pants are fashioned from Bombtech, a 2-ply waterproof, highly breathable fabric that will keep the light water off.

In an effort to depart from the “shrink it and pink it” mentality, this year Bomber Gear has also developed a women’s-specific line of paddling apparel, ranging from the rugged Hydrobomb Dry Top and Dry pants (available in March), to the Blitz Splash line, to layering pieces. Our designers have ensured that no matter the conditions or adventure, female paddlers have top of the line gear that is designed specifically for a woman.

About Bomber Gear:
Bomber Gear was founded in Durango, Colo. in 1992 by expert kayaker Rick Franken.  Franken bought his first sewing machine because he and a small group of adventure-seeking friends needed better gear. Better gear that let them push the limits and perform at their best while staying warm, dry and comfortable. The goal was to design and manufacture task-specific paddling gear that worked for everyone. Today, Bomber Gear is a premium, authentic paddlesports brand that continues to specialize in designing performance sprayskirts and technical paddlesports apparel.  Visit Bomber Gear online at www.bombergear.com.
