Nike Skateboarding / Above The Board: The Zoom All Court Ck

A year and a half ago, when Nike SB Pro Cory Kennedy arrived to shoot his first part in SB Chronicles III, no one doubted his ability. The surprise was what he wore on his feet: the Nike All Court

Although the shoe’s roots are in performance tennis, the All Court’s simplicity and durable construction piqued Kennedy’s interest. “I like a simpler type of shoe, something that feels worn in the first time I put them on,” he says. “I was looking for something fresh and saw the All Courts on NIKEiD. I had never seen them before, but I have always been obsessed with the toe cap so I decided to make a few.”

Kennedy liked the shoe so much he went back to NIKEiD to make more, but they were no longer available. Not willing to give up on his new discovery, he combed the Internet for pairs in his size. “I’m pretty sure I bought about ten pairs," he admits.

Tennis shoes have, of course, been appropriated for skateboarding before and styles, like the Nike GTS and Challenge Court, have developed a strong following. Kennedy has skated the All Courts almost exclusively over the last few years, garnering a fair amount of attention in them. "I made a couple dudes a bit jealous,” Kennedy recalls, remembering the reactions of some of his Nike SB teammates.

The durability also impressed the other Nike SB riders, so much so that many of them took to NIKEiD to make their own. The Nike SB footwear design team couldn't help but take notice, and now they’ve decided to add the Nike SB Zoom All Court CK to the line up.

A durable suede upper and tongue enhance the longevity provided by the reinforced toe cap. Based off the Zoom All Court II silhouette, a faux snakeskin swoosh was added to complete the package.

The Nike SB Zoom All Court CK is available now at nike.com/skateboarding and select Nike SB retailers.
