Exciting standout introductions this season include "ECOLINE®," a new technology from ASICS utilizing recycled polyester fabric from repurposed coffee beans with sweat-wicking and climate-control benefits, and the new GEL-FujiRunnegade™ running footwear with an anti-gravel tongue to prevent debris from getting into the footwear during off-road runs. This season, ASICS America is highlighting its electrifying repertoire for performance through "Run Your Way," an initiative to provide runners with the optimum footwear and running gear to make the most of the time on their feet, whether it be on pavement or dirt trail rain or shine. "Run Natural" is the first iteration of the initiative, providing updates to the ASICS Natural33™ collection to help runners achieve a "gear-free feeling" with flexibility and lighter weights. This includes the new 33-DFA™ and 33-FA™ footwear, which offer FluidAxis®. "Run Fast" includes the latest in speed and racing footwear including the new GEL-Hyper Tri™ footwear for triathlons over shorter distances. The GEL-Hyper Tri™ features elastic laces, heel and tongue loops and Seamless Construction to allow for sockless wear and a breezy transition on race day. The updated GEL-Noosa TRI™ 10 includes a WET GRIP® outsole ideal for aid stations and wet conditions, as well as a 15% lighter midsole Solyte® and a perforated sockliner for a lighter, more comfortable ride. The performance run category also spotlights renewal to the everlasting favorites in Spring 2015, like the new GEL-Nimbus® 17. Featuring an updated FluidFit® upper, which combines engineered mesh and seamless overlay construction that stretches, the GEL-Nimbus® 17 allows it to move with the foot like never before. The shoe also sports updated FluidRide® technology, providing 20% more bouncy cushioning directly underfoot and less weight closest to the ground. ASICS has seen incredible success within its training category, and the Spring 2015 ASICS Studio collection continues the momentum with new fabrics and fashionable accessory additions.
