Umberto Uccelli Joins Zero Motorcycles

European Operations Bolstered with Leading Motorcycle Industry Talent

SANTA CRUZ, CA – September 10, 2014 – Zero Motorcycles, the global leader in the electric motorcycle industry, announced today that Umberto Uccelli has joined the company as managing director of Zero Motorcycles Europe, where he will lead all of Zero’s European operations. Mr. Uccelli’s career spans over 20 years with some of motorcycling’s most iconic brands: MV Augusta, Ducati, and BMW. Uccelli’s arrival brings valuable expertise in sales, marketing, and international expansion.

When asked what brought him to Zero Motorcycles, Uccelli replied, “I’m inspired by the opportunity to apply my experience with traditional motorcycles to help build the future of motorcycling. Zero’s technology is exciting, the bikes are thrilling to ride and the team is very strong.”

Uccelli will be based from Zero Motorcycles’ European headquarters in Alkmaar, Netherlands, joining an established staff that have fostered Zero’s growth to date. His first international duty will be at the 2014 Intermot trade show, where Uccelli will be available to meet with members of the press and motorcycle dealers.
