Sandy, UT – (Sept. 8, 2014) Reynolds Cycling,
manufacturer of high-performance race wheels for mountain and road
bikes and pioneer in carbon fiber and aero technology, announced today
the hire of Lori Barrett as U.S. national sales manager. Barrett will
manage the North American sales team and oversee U.S. distribution. She
will reinforce the current distribution channels and lead the U.S. sales
force. Barrett steps into the role following the recent announcement of
global sales development manager Travis Erwin’s promotion to European
GM, providing dedicated oversight to each market respectively.
“I’m very excited to join the Reynolds team at this key time in its growth,” said Lori Barrett, Reynolds national sales manager. “I’ve been riding Reynolds for a long time, and look forward to continuing development of the dealer-focused initiatives, while we continue investing in Reynolds’ carbon technology.”
Barrett has experience in specialty bike sales; she has been an outside sales representative for Reynolds, a factory representative for other brands in the industry and has most recently been principal of an agency representing Pearl iZumi, Pivot Cycles and American Bicycle Group.
“Already familiar with the challenges and opportunities as an outside sales representative, Lori is an innovative leader who will provide the necessary focus and attention our domestic sales force requires to support the Reynolds brand in the ultra-competitive U.S. aftermarket,” said Travis Erwin, European GM.
