FluidStance Announces Integrated Partnership with First Descents

FluidStance, creator of the LEVEL workplace platform, announces a long-term, integrated partnership with First Descents, a non-profit that provides life-changing outdoor adventure programs for young adults impacted by cancer.

“I am thrilled to be announcing this partnership with First Descents,” states Joel Health, founder of FluidStance and founding board member and past president of First Descents. “First Descents is an organization I have a long history with and whose mission I feel passionately about. My goal with this partnership is to provide First Descents with the continued ability to reach more and more young adults battling cancer.

FluidStance is committing one percent of top line sales, one percent of equity, and one percent of employees’ time to First Descents, on an annual basis. The donations will be facilitated by Pledge 1%, a program of The Community Foundation serving Boulder County.  With 10 First Descents programs scheduled to take place in California in 2015, FluidStance employees will have ample ability to engage and volunteer with the organization an experience that Heath refers to as “once-in-a-lifetime.”

“The passion and zest for life that these young adults have is contagious, and I hope this is an experience my employees talk about forever,” states Heath.

“Joel has been an invaluable part of First Descents since its inception. We are absolutely thrilled about his new venture with FluidStance and honored that he chose FD as a philanthropic partner. We look forward to engaging with the FluidStance team and seeing this amazing business grow,” states Brad Ludden, Founder of First Descents.

To kickoff this partnership, FluidStance will donate $10 for every LEVEL that is purchased through a referral from First Descents. This promotion will run through the end of the FluidStance Indiegogo campaign, which is Friday, March 13,, 2015. To purchase a LEVEL and support First Descents, please visit this link.
