New product : VP Racing Fuels Introduces MRX02 for Two-Stroke Motocross

Taking MRX01 To The Next Level With Higher Octane, More Power
SAN ANTONIO, TX – July , 2012 – VP Racing Fuels today introduced the new MRX02 fuel for two-stroke motocross bikes and ATVs.  In the motocross world, VP’s MRX01 has long been the performance leader for both two-stroke motocross engines.  “MRX01 has been the benchmark in the industry for twelve years,” says Bruce Hendel, Western Regional Manager for VP Racing Fuels.  “Even though our competitors have not been able to beat its performance, we decided to challenge ourselves.”

VP knew that the standard set by MRX01 would be tough to surpass.  The different goals we set out to accomplish included higher octane, more power, and more consistency with reduced sensitivity in the heat.  For VP, these goals were obtained through hard work and repeated testing.  “Working with Mitch Payton at Pro Circuit on their dyno and then doing extensive testing in the field, we were able to achieve all three goals with MRX02,” Hendel explains.

It seems all the hard work paid off well for VP.  Last month, the new blend was the preferred fuel for two-strokes at Mammoth Motocross in Mammoth Lake, CA.  “We definitely saw an improvement,” adds Ryan Holliday, Motocross Manager for Kawasaki.  “MRX02 was more resistant to the heat and we have already recommended the fuel to other motocross riders.”

Surpassing MRX01, MRX02 is effective in delivering up to 7% more power than pump gas and any basic non-oxgenated race fuel.  The high-end, exotic blend also passes rules for the AMA Pro/Am.  Just like its predecessor, MRX02 ensures maximum performance from the start to the finish of the race.  Hendel concludes, “This is the best performing two stroke motocross fuel for stock and modified engines, period!”
