Business News : Lorient. A breath of fresh air for employees Plastimo / Navimo.

Atmosphere of lead under the sun, July 27 at 9 am, before the Commercial Court of Lorient. Forty employees (production team could not come, assistant to the funeral of one of their colleagues) looked fear the opinions of lay judges. Continue? Liquidation?

They had to wait. 50 minutes later, after an exchange in private, they should resign themselves to wait again for their fate. At 15 h, the Registry informed the delegates that the staff group Navimo (more known as Plastimo Lorient) enjoyed a continuation of activity until 23 November. He was placed in receivership at the end of May.

New hearing on August 23"A relief, yes, but without certainty for the future," slipped Gilles Roch, delegate of the CGT. Since August 23, a new hearing will examine the case of the group "to consider the tenders of occasions, the continuation if finances permit, or order the liquidation." The stay is short-lived for 140 employees Lorient, which will go on holiday with no real future, the company's closing on August 1 to September 3.The relief was therefore relative. Jean-Louis Miles, Delegate of the CFE-CGC acknowledges. "It will be funny holiday 300 families for the entire group. It was feared liquidation today, because takeover bids are known really unacceptable. "Gilles Le Roch said:" We find ourselves in a situation that we would never live, 'says he, critical management led by CEO Albert Journo who took over the group two years ago.

Foreign buyers? The result today is starved: one unit of Saint-Herblain, Loire-Atlantique could be replicated with almost all of its workforce. At Lorient, only a dozen employees could be affected.CEO Albert Journo said for his part "as potential buyers, especially foreigners, did not understand how we operate." He speaks of possible French or foreign candidates, yet to woo, to provide economic and social responses. He breathes with the new deadline, sign him for the "viability," but provides no detail on potential foreign buyers."We have a recognized expertise, the current takeover bids are indecent," Judge Gilles Le Roch, a militant CGT calm, but we feel on edge. He does not believe in a miracle suddenly came from abroad. "Me, what I want is an industrial Breton who loves the sea." And taking the bar-Navimo Plastimo. Like all employees, it navigates to a view. Without really future.
