Tyler brings years of outdoor sports industry experience to Fischer, where he will be in charge of managing the sales rep force and retailer relationships. Beck, will have a close working relationship with the mother company (Fischer Sports GmbH) in Austria.
“We are really excited to have Tyler on board here,” said Matt Berkowitz (Director of Alpine Marketing & Product). “He brings a unique mix of experiences ranging from retail, to working for a competitor (Volkl), and most recently being a sales rep. I think it’s a real advantage with him having all three of those perspectives.”
Beck’s official start date at Fischer will be August 13th, 2012, where he will be jumping in with two feet. Within a very short amount of time, he will take part in a national and international sales meeting, get extensive product and Vacuum Fit training, and meet as many retailers as he can.
“I am really excited to collaborate with the established team at Fischer,” said Beck. “It is a great opportunity for me to draw upon the knowledge that I have gained in my many years in the Ski and Sporting goods industry, and help grow a brand by capitalizing on its long history of quality and performance.”
