Business and trade show :Concept III Textile to Exhibit at Sourcing Snow at SIA Snow Show

Concept III Textiles will be among a handful of suppliers to exhibit at next winter’s Snowsports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show, which is adding a Sourcing Show on a separate floor for the first time.

A separate floor is being set aside for performance textiles, technologies, insulation, findings and other component vendors to enable them to work with apparel brands in one dedicated area there for the first time. SIA Snow Show takes place in Denver from Jan. 31-Feb. 3, 2013. About two dozen companies have signed on to exhibit in the space, according to Chris Parkes, Concept III Textiles national sales manager.

“Rumors about a supplier venue at the SnowSports Industries America (SIA) Snow Show have become reality, and we have gladly signed on,” said Parkes.

Concept III will celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2013 and the company relishes the chance to exhibit within the snow sport market’s prestigious show – a market in which helped launch the textile-based product solutions company in 1983.

“Internationally, ski has always had a direct impact on performance fashion,” said Concept III founder and CEO David Parkes, “as well as countless new fibers, fabrics and silhouettes have been launched by the industry over the years.”

Concept III develops and sources performance textiles for the active sports and outdoor markets and works with 10 textile technologies and mills worldwide. All the companies have also committed to participation in the Concept III booth.

Ski and boardwear rely on snow, yet ski brands have many other opportunities within the extended categories of outdoor, active and lifestyle apparel,” said Chris Parkes. “That’s what we bring to the table and that’s what our ski customers rely on us for. Being able to work with all our snow sports brands in one place is a bonus.”

At Sourcing Snow, SIA is offering a well-priced, turnkey package including a complete workspace, display area, wi-fi and more. Since many suppliers will be coming to Denver just a few days after showing at the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake City, the convenience of a pre-fab booth “makes logistics easy”, says Parkes.
