Golfzon Launches SwingTalk In The U.S. Market

Innovative Golf Swing Analyzer Provides Instant Voice Feedback

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2015 -- Golfzon today announced that SwingTalk, its innovative golf swing analyzer, is now available for the first time in the United States.

SwingTalk brings consumers a new generation of swing analyzer as it analyzes a golfer's swing with comprehensive data and provides real-time voice feedback. The product includes a smartphone application that uses a Bluetooth connection to link to a sensor that goes on the grip of a golf club. SwingTalk is supported by both iOS and Android devices and can be connected to a Bluetooth headset.

SwingTalk is now available exclusively on amazon.com and ebay.com, and retails for $149.95, a discounted rate applied from its original price, $175. It is available in either black or white color.

"With the SwingTalk app and sensor, golfers of all levels will be able to continue to improve their swing through the extremely detailed information the application provides," said Kisun Shin, vice president of R&D, Golfzon. "When you are practicing alone, there is no better partner than SwingTalk."

SwingTalk breaks down all phases of a swing, including the address, backswing, at the top, downswing and impact. It then analyzes the impact phase, the movement of the shaft, the club speed, the swing type and the tempo. The app traces the clubs trajectory in 3D and reads the direction of a hit with a gyro sensor and accelerometer.

Setting up SwingTalk is simple. A golfer purchases the sensor and then downloads the free SwingTalk app from the Apple App store or the Google Play store. After placing the sensor on the golf club, a golfer pairs the sensor to his/her smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth. Then all a golfer needs to do is swing and the SwingTalk app will begin to analyze.

The sensor, weighing only 10.5 grams (0.37oz), is installed on the top of the grip of a golf club so that it will have no effect on the balance of a club. Only with this sensor, users can try the driver through the putter. Also, a golfer can hear immediate voice feedback and practice his/her swing without being interrupted by looking at his/her smartphone display. Through SwingTalk Cloud, a user can save and load his/her swings and replay them at any time. Additionally, a user also has the ability to compare his/her golf swings with those of a professional golfer as well as with his/her previous swings.
