OMsignal’s First Edition Biometric Smartwear and New iOS App are now available

Today is a special day here at OMsignal and we’re excited to announce we’ve begun shipping the First Edition of our Biometric Smartwear to pre-order customers. As part of today’s release, we’re also launching the OMsignal iOS app in the Apple App Store. Our Smartwear compression shirts and the iOS app work in tandem to allow users to take control of their health and fitness routines by informing them with data to workout smarter and live better.

The OMsignal Biometric Smartwear is the first fitness wear collection of its kind, designed to give real-time data showing heart rate, breathing, activity levels, and wellness insights for a happier, healthier life. The fibers in the shirt actually monitor your body’s unique signals, send them to the module attached to the shirt (our Little Black Box), which then sends them to your iOS powered device.

The new OMsignal iOS app instantly summarizes and visualizes all of this data, making it easy to know what’s up with your body and help you adjust during your workout. The app also saves your data so you can analyze your performance, compare past sessions, track your overall progress and reach your goals. Pretty cool, huh?

Not only can our Smartwear help your workout performance, but you can use the OMsignal app to monitor your activities outside the gym in steps taken, calories burned, and intensity of body movement. Together, these add up to a more complete picture of your health and fitness.
To get a better idea of what exactly you can do with the OMsignal gear and app, we’ve laid it all out below:

Real-time biometrics

During a workout or on your walk to work, you can immediately see your heart rate, breathing, activity levels, and calories.

Fitness sessions

Whether you want to lose weight or just get stronger, the app gives you the tools to achieve your goals. During a fitness session, you can monitor your training zones, peak heart rate, total effort (we call it Push) and breathing. Throughout the session, you’ll be able to track your personalized heart rate training goals, see the number of calories burned, and access a detailed fitness report at the end of the workout that summarizes your activity and provides insights to maximize your performance.

Lifestyle Reports

These help you understand how your body is affected by what you do every day through your biometrics. Using Lifestyle Reports, you can track your progress over time, see patterns and changes, as well as get a full day view of your heart rate, breathing and activity levels. By understanding what’s up with your body each day, you can identify ways to improve and make lasting, informed changes to a healthier, happier and fitter you.

Biometric Test and Exercises

Assess your fitness level inside the OMsignal app with the Biometric Test, a quick fitness assessment that includes interactive videos, photos and written descriptions to guide you. At the end, your fitness is graded and results are compared to peers in your age group. Take it a step further and use our trainer’s Biometric Exercises [link to Biometric Exercises on How To page] to raise your performance and achieve your desired fitness.

The OMsignal iOS app is available today in the Apple App Store.
