Gregory, the world’s leading pack maker for over 35 years, is building significant momentum into 2015 with a new hire to the product development team. Additionally a new distribution center is now operational.

“Since being acquired by Samsonite in July 2014, we’ve focused on a smooth, seamless transition so our Spring 2015 season can be the most successful in the company’s history,” says John Pieper, director of North American sales. “There’s no question Gregory’s best days are ahead of us and customers around the world should be excited about the partnership ahead.”

Rawmin Ehyai joins the product development team with a BFA in industrial design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He previously served as a product designer for CamelBak, lululemon and MindShift Gear. His recent experience in designing both technical packs and lifestyle bags combined with his love for backpacking led him to Gregory.

“Rawmin brings great talent to the product development team,” states John Sears, director of product development at Gregory. “We’ve assembled the strongest team ever and are already tapping into Samsonite’s global development expertise to deliver the best bags to a wider range of customers.”

Gregory just completed a transition to a new distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida that is run by one of the most experienced teams in the industry. By taking advantage of the logistical prowess of this new facility, Gregory will offer even more flexibility and opportunity to its customers. The new location provides the necessary logistics and support for the brand to flourish. Orders began shipping from the new center on November 5, 2014.
