Oakley’s ‘Snowboarding: For Me’ To Air On ABC’s World Of X Games

Foothill Ranch, CA (November 20, 2014) -- Oakley, Inc. has collaborated with ESPN on a documentary-style version of its acclaimed new movie, Snowboarding: For Me.

The television adaptation will air on ABC’s World of X Games on Sunday, November 23rd at 1:00 PM PST.
 
Snowboarding: For Me brings the Oakley Snowboarding story to life through the perspectives and experiences of the athletes. Their moving testimonials coupled with archival and never-before-seen action footage convey a unique position on the past, present and future of the sport that is both inspirational and thought provoking.

Filmed using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies, Snowboarding: For Me takes the viewer from the streets of Helsinki to the backcountry of British Columbia, from Norway to Japan.

Snowboarding: For Me amplifies the voice of a legendary group of snowboarders, giving them a platform to share their perspectives on the sport and lifestyle in which they live every single day,” said Cuan Petersen, Oakley Sports Marketing Director.
