Charlottesville, VA – Bad to the Bone Endurance Sports is
excited to announce a new partnership with Devils Backbone Brewing
Company for the Bel Monte Races, to be help April 18th, 2015 in Love,
VA. The Bel Monte Races include 50 miles, 50 kilometers, and 25
kilometers races and is one of the premier mountain trail runs on the
East Coast. With a start and finish location just a handful of miles
from the Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub location, the partnership is a
natural fit.
“In addition to the close proximity of the Basecamp brewpub with the race, the brands are also a perfect match,” explains Alyssa Godesky, Director of Marketing for Bad to the Bone. “Devils Backbone is founded on principles that include a love for Virginia’s mountains and trails: the Bel Monte races are the perfect way to experience both of those things and enjoy the beer at Devils Backbone before and after the event!”
Packet pickup will take place at the Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub location on April 17th. There will be live entertainment, and beer and food specials for the race participants, which will continue through the weekend.
We are pleased to be a partner in this adventure which takes participants into the coves and hollows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. “The mountains are some of the oldest in the world and truly a treasure to experience while enjoying a pint of Devils Backbone beer” says Heidi Crandall, Marketing Director of Devils Backbone Brewing Company.
Devils Backbone beer will also be on-site at the Royal Oaks Resorts available for purchase, to benefit a local non-profit organization.
Registration for the Bel Monte Races is currently open at www.belmonteraces.com.
