Business news : Fairline expands in China

Bagary Yacht Industry Management Co Ltd is now trading as Fairline Dalian

Fairline Boats’ Chinese distributor, Jebsen Marine, has appointed Bagary Yacht Industry Management Co Ltd as its new local partner in Dalian, China. The company is now trading as Fairline Dalian.

Hong Kong-based Jebsen has the exclusive dealer contract for Fairline across the whole of China. The company, which recently announced plans to develop a nationwide dealer network over the next three years, also markets the Hanse, Riva and Archambault brands.

“Dalian has always been an important boating destination in North China and this is a key appointment for Fairline Boats,” says Lars Petersen, general manager at Jebsen Marine.

“As the luxury yacht market continues to develop, I am confident we will see even more Fairline motoryachts in Dalian and that this will be an important area for the brand.”

Fairline Dalian is said to have vast experience of the local market and will be opening a new office in Dalian soon. Petersen says that the recent delivery of the flagship Squadron 78 into China, as well as sales in South China and Hong Kong, demonstrates Fairline’s potential in the Chinese market.

Fairline Boats is responsible for the Targa and Squadron range of motoryachts from 12m-24m (38ft-78ft). The company is also launching a trio of new 15m (48ft) models available globally from July 2013.
