New products : Beach Riot launches international brand expansion with debut line of sunglasses, resort collection, collaboration with Stone Cold Fox and newly hired sales team

After a very successful debut year, women’s contemporary swimwear brand BEACH RIOT has some exciting announcements for 2014. Continuing her focus on fashion forward trends and cutting edge designs, Designer Nicole Hanriot will yet again amaze swimwear lovers with her fresh styles for Spring and Summer ‘14, in addition to offering a special Resort ‘13 Collection. Drawing inspiration from the beaches of Miami to the streets of Sin City, these looks are easily worn from day into night. A mix of vintage prints, bold silhouettes, and custom embellishments are just a few of the trademarks you will be seeing from the brand this season.

Beach Riot will also be launching a second collaboration collection with fellow So-Cal lifestyle brand, Stone Cold Fox. The first collaboration made headlines this year, selling out in record speed. The union of the two brands reintroduces Brazilian style silhouettes and features a revolutionary textured fabric, across a collection that is simple, sexy, and not to be missed!

Another exciting up and coming launch for Beach Riot is their debut Sunny G’s. With girly details, colored lenses, and standout frames, these sunglasses complement the collection’s surfer chic meets high fashion runway vibe. Inspired by their hometown, Orange County, each shade has a street name to match.

In addition, Beach Riot is thrilled to announce its partnership with two amazing international sales agencies. Sticks & Stones will be handling sales for the brand in Australia moving forward, and The Butler Company will be handling sales in the UK. Both agencies already have strong brand assortments in their territories, and Beach Riot see’s great growth potential in the expanding international marketplace.

This past year Beach Riot was proud to be on the shelves of many amazing high end & specialty retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Free People, Nasty Gal, Shopbop, Revolve Clothing, Urban Outfitters, and Planet Blue. Additionally, many great industry & swim retailers like Diane’s Beachwear, Swell, Pacsun, Jacks, HSS and Sun Diego. Press placements were also seen in notable publications like Sports Illustrated Swim Edition, Elle, Marie Claire, Teen Vogue, Lucky, Surfing Swim Issue, Seventeen and Glamour. Numerous bloggers can be seen rocking Beach Riot’s looks, and even celeb Miley Cyrus has been spotted as a fan of the brand!

Beach Riot will debut all of their 2014 Collections at the upcoming Miami Swim Show, following with Agenda Long Beach, The Swim Collective, ENK Vegas, Surf Expo, and Capsule NY. For Tradeshow appointments, please email Kyla@beachriot.com.

About Beach Riot :
Newport Beach Blonde bombshell, Nicole Hanriot,  grew up in the action sports world, interning for Volcom and E! Entertainment before heading to FIDM for production development. Straight out of school, Hanriot got her flirty design direction as assistant designer for L.A. based lounge wear company Primp. Making quite the name for herself as former women’s designer at SoCal lifestyle brand Tavik, it soon came time for this determined designer to branch out. “I’ve always wanted my own line and I’ve always loved the beach and swimwear.” she says.  Though Hanriot comes across as soft-spoken and shy, she’s far from timid when it comes to hopping on the fast track to making her dreams a reality.
