New product : STAKI, A NEW WAY TO SKI

Popularity of skiing rises again

Few years after certain decrease of interest in alpine skiing, due to higher popularity primarily in snowboarding, snow centre operators and sport equipment sellers begin to perceive skiing renaissance. Primarily thanks to higher effort in new skis development and new methods of skiing, there are more people returning to snowy slopes.

One of the examples of innovative skiing approach is invention called STAKI, meaning“stable ski”.

In comparison with classic format of skis that exist in different lengths and technical design for certain age and experience group of skiers, STAKI´s are much more universal and approachable. There is no need of adjustment of ski length according to skier’s height. Basic option of STAKI is for all riders from 120 cm´s of height. The version of STAKI for little skiers is available now too.

Variability of STAKI consists in its original technical solution. The skis have special patented metal ending with vertical lamellae that ensures safe ride in all types of slopes and snow surface. Compared with normal skis, the STAKI´s are very short, approximately half the size and therefore are easily manageable. Stability ending also ensures safer ride.

Anyone can enjoy ride on STAKI skies, no matter what performance level they are.

STAKI helps beginning skiers, children or adults, to obtain correct riding pose. Classic skis tend to start moving uncontrollably in backward bend, which naturally leads into fall. STAKI, thanks to its construction, will apply the brake during improper backward bend and will help skier find correct riding pose.

Less falls, especially for little skiers, means lower risk of losing the interest in skiing. On the contrary, this will lead to satisfactory skiing experience easier and faster.

On the other end of skiing efficiency are the followers of extreme skiing. Also for them are the STAKI skies dedicated. Stability ending allows ride even on very narrow strips of snow, for example in mountain gaps. Another advantage of STAKI skis is the low weight given by smaller size. Climbing to place, where skier can run for adrenalin is so much easier and less physically demanding.

STAKI system is also considerate to skiers who had to give up on their favourite sport due to health problems - after knee ligament injury etc. STAKI absorbs the high knee pressure which accrues during turning on long skis. STAKI allow returning to snowy slopes even to those people who gave up onskiing because they feared injury.
