The Winners:
The Teva Terra Fi 3 http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/ Sandals-Reviews/ Teva-Terra-Fi- 3
winner of the Editor's Choice award for 2013. Review Editor, Tommy
Penick says, "The Terra-Fi 3 is a stronger, tougher version of the
Hurricane XLT. It has a thicker sole and more webbing padding. It left
us supremely happy when avoiding falls due to it's burly tread unlike
any other we tested."
Top Pick award for 2013 goes to the Keen Newport H2 http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/ Sandals-Reviews/ Keen-Newpor...
this award goes to a product that does extremely well at a specific
application. According to Review Editor Penick, "The Newport fits great
and is very sturdy and supportive. It certainly upholds Keens mission to
making the best closed toe design sandal."
The Chaco Yampa Z/2 also won the Top Pick award for 2013 for being one of the best products designed for a specific appication. Penick states, "The Yampa subtracts two pounds from the original Unaweep and sticks to their original strapping system but with a much lighter and more comfortable footbed."

this award is goes to a product that recieves both a high score in our
tests balanced with a reasonable price. Review Editor Penick reports,
"The Hurricane's simple lightweight, open design originally designed for
river fun, has exceeded our expectations. We appreciate it's ease in
achieving a custom fit via its strapping system and the fact that all of
its simplicity saves weight."
