BORDENTOWN, N.J. – A lot happened 40
years ago. In 1975, Bill Gates’ software-giant Microsoft was founded,
legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden won his 10th national championship, and David Bowie’s celebrated “Fame” single reached #1 on the charts.
Also in 1975, in a little place called
Princeton, New Jersey, dive enthusiast William Stephens changed the way
we explore the world underwater by creating the revolutionary Bottom
Timer. This invention soon led to the official launch of Princeton Tec,
who today is recognized as the market leader of U.S. manufactured
handheld lights and headlamps for the SCUBA, outdoor, bike, tactical,
and industrial markets. To celebrate their 40th anniversary,
Princeton Tec will be showcasing its diverse line of lighting products –
as well as some throw-back memorabilia – at booth #2155 at the upcoming
Diving Equipment & Marketing Association (DEMA) show Nov. 19-22.
“Everyone at Princeton Tec is excited to enter our 40th
year manufacturing innovative, user-friendly products that help people
safely enjoy memorable experiences above and below water,” said Dave
Cozzone, Vice President at Princeton Tec. “Since the company’s roots are
in the dive industry, there’s no better place for us to kick off this
landmark year than at the DEMA show.”
At DEMA, Princeton Tec welcomes you to join
them in celebrating 40 years of pioneering dive products. Join the
company on Thurs., Nov. 20th from 4-6 p.m. at booth #2155
where there will be free beer and cake, limited edition pint glasses,
and a complete timeline of Princeton Tec lights. The booth will feature a
custom made ‘Then & Now’ storyboard highlighting several of the key
products throughout the decades.
Still family owned and operated, Princeton
Tec continues to provide the best lighting solutions in the industry.
Year after year, Princeton Tec has consistently shown the brand’s
commitment to innovation and quality, and their best-in-class technology
continues to produce industry leading products such as the new durable
and compact Genesis handheld, powerful Sector 5 & Sector 7, and the unique Meridian – all of which will be launched at DEMA.
The 40th celebration starts Nov. 20th at 4 p.m. at booth #2155. See you there!
