LEKI Auctions Off Art Poles By Caroline Gleich To Benefit POW

BUFFALO, NY – LEKI has partnered with the non-profit Protect Our Winters (POW) to auction off six pairs of one-of-a-kind art ski poles that have been hand painted/embellished by Professional Skier and LEKI Athlete Caroline Gleich. Right in time for holiday gift giving, the auction will take place December 3 – 10, with all proceeds benefitting POW and their mission to fight against climate change.
 
Outside of skiing, Gleich has a passion for design and creates and sells her own hand made beanies. She customizes her own LEKI poles, as she likes to bring her own style and individuality to the slopes, and thus the idea to create poles for an auction came about. Gleich hand crafted each pair with their own one-of-a-kind theme, including: go USA red/white/blue; bedazzled crystal bling; rainbow yarn bomb; friendship bracelet; whimsical pom-poms; and LEKI logo.

Gleich is one of many professional skiers to support POW, even visiting Capitol Hill last fall with leaders of the non-profit company to discuss the EPA’s carbon standards with members of Congress.
