Arc’teryx introduces an entirely new collection for ski alpinists: specifically built to accommodate the demands of the alpine climber who descends the mountain on skis. With emphasis on absolute minimum weight, packability and features that work with the necessary alpine tools, the new Procline line is built for ski alpinists focused on entering technical mountain terrain that rarely sees skis.

A complimentary product capsule with a systems-approach, the elite Procline products have been created to deal with high-heat output and moisture management on the uphill combined with features that protect from the chill of the downhill. Each feature set has been designed to work in unison with a harness, helmet, backpack, crampons and mid-layers. Designs are sleek, fully-articulated, cut very trim and designed from an alpinist’s perspective. There are two jackets and two pants for men and women.

The new foundation for ski alpinism is the Procline Comp Jacket that combines the waterproof / breathable performance of GORE Fabric Technology along with Fortius™ 1.0 softshell fabric, mapped to provide zonal thermal management for the ascent and weather protection for the descent. A helmet-compatible StormHood, trim fit, crossover chest pockets that guarantee easy access while wearing a backpack, and harness snugging HemLock™ inserts
ensure speed, safety and convenience.

The Procline Hybrid Hoody is the ski alpinist’s hybrid midlayer, offering optimal thermal management for the uphill push. Trim fitting with ergonomic e3D Patterning for freedom of movement and minimized bulk, the jacket is built with a lightweight Tyono™ nylon shell and lined with moisture wicking gridded fleece through the front, back, shoulders and hood. To maximize breathability without sacrificing protection, the underarm and side panels are constructed with Polartec® Power Stretch fleece with Hardface Technology. The new, Arc´teryx exclusive No-Slip Zip keeps the zipper from self-opening while still allowing quick and easy venting through the front zipper.

Designed to be worn with a climbing harness full-time, the Procline AR Pant is a fully seam-sealed WINDSTOPPER® shell pant that offers weather protection and ventilation throughout a broad range of alpine conditions. With thoughtfully placed, glove-friendly pockets, other features include side-zip ventilation with stretch mesh that allows excess heat and sweat to escape, low profile adjustable suspenders, and crampon compatible cuffs with zippered hem gussets to accommodate various boot volumes.

The trim Procline FL Pant with straight legs is a full softshell pant utilizing Burly Double Weave and Fortius 1.0 to create a pant that provides thermal management during high-output, uphill access to technical terrain and peaks. Glove and harness friendly, this low-profile pant sports easy access ventilation and smart features like two zippered hand pockets, one harness compatible
thigh dump pocket and Keprotec™ instep patches which helps reduce edge cuts and interference with crampons.
