with adventure sports stars in a brand new ‘how to…’ video
series.

outdoor has been working with three inspiring adventure athletes: The
UK’s bouldering champion Shauna Coxsey, seven year British Climbing
Champion Gaz Parry and world renowned kayaker Jon Haylock. Taking a
close look at the skills these athletes embody, adidas has created an
exciting video series that will enhance any viewer’s ability to
mimic their idols.
Inspired
by French free climber Catherine Destiville at the age of four,
Shauna Coxsey’s ability in bouldering is uncontested. She has risen
to take the title of British Lead Climbing and Bouldering Champion
and is currently ranked 3rd
in the World Bouldering Cup. In the new adidas series, Shauna takes
to the camera to share her knowledge from warming up and conditioning
to footwork and dynos.
Having
started climbing at the age of 12 years, Gaz Parry has a wealth of
experience, including seven British Champion titles. He has climbed
the world's highest sea cliffs, bouldered 8b, climbed 8c+ and
onsighted 8a+. Bringing his experience to the screen Gaz demonstrates
what is needed to combat rockovers, tricky holds and find the
all-important perfect balance.
After
many years paddling some of the most extreme rivers in Scotland and
taking people on guided sea trips around the world, Jon Haylock is renowned
in the world of kayaking. In this new video series Jon takes viewers
on a journey from the start with tips and advice on essential skills,
including turning, paddling and rolling as well as guides budding
enthusiasts on the progression to white water.
