Mountainsmith Adds New Sales Reps In Canada

Golden, CO —Mountainsmith, craftsmen of iconic backcountry equipment and recreational outdoor gear, is excited to announce the addition of Canadian outdoor industry veterans Tom Jones, Jason Jennens and Peter Skala to it’s independent sales rep team.

“We’re excited to be represented in Canada by Jason, Tom and Peter,” said Mountainsmith President Jason Getzel. “All three bring vast product knowledge and outstanding retail relationships to the table and will be great partners to help reestablish our presence throughout the country.”

Currently residing in Kelowna BC, Jason Jennens Sales represents Outdoor Research, Vibram® Fivefingers®, Kavu, Tasc Performance Apparel, Saxx Underwear, Eno Hammocks, Kahtoola, Injinji, Terramar and selk’bag. Jennens will represent Mountainsmith in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Jones started Tom Jones Sales Agencies in 1994 and currently reps Vibram® Fivefingers®, Buff, Westcomb, Kavu, Injinji, Eno, Bridgedale and Polar Feet.   Jones previously represented Mountainsmith from 2007-2009 and will handle retailers in British Columbia and The Yukon.

Peter Skala, of J.P. Skala Enterprises, is a 22-year veteran of the outdoor industry and will represent Mountainsmith in Ontario. Skala currently represents Wigwam Mills, Ex Officio, Outdoor Research, SteriPen, Kavu, Native Eyewear, Hotcore and True Utility.
