Flylow, manufacturers of backcountry freeride ski apparel, has hired a
national sales manager and a Western Great Lakes sales rep.
Micah Hinton joins the Flylow crew as the national sales manager.
Hinton, an avid skier based in San Rafael, CA, has previously worked as a
sales service coordinator and sales training specialist for Mountain
Hardwear and the national sales manager for Buff, Inc. Hinton will also
maintain his current role as the global director of sales for Pacific
Outdoor Equipment. Hinton’s resume also includes sales and retail
experience at The Orvis Company and Tahoe’s Homewood Ski Area.
“I’ve been friends with the Flylow guys for years and it’s great to
finally be able to work with them,” Hinton says. “I’m looking forward to
growing the brand and giving the Flylow sales reps and stores the
support they need.”
Previously, Flylow co-founder and president Dan Abrams held the position
of national sales manager.
“Hiring Micah will help me focus on brand
development and design,” Abrams said. “We’re really happy to have Micah
on board. He brings a lot of experience and credibility in the ski and
outdoor industry.”
Joe Denne has been hired as the new Western Great Lakes sales rep. Denne
has worked in the outdoor and ski industry for 27 years. He worked for
many years with Adidas and Puma, and in addition to Flylow, he currently
reps Canada Goose and Tasc Performance in the Midwest. Denne is based
in Minneapolis.
“Joe brings a tremendous amount of experience and passion to the Flylow
team,” says Hinton. “We are excited to grow our business with him. You
can expect big things to come.”
Flylow has been making backcountry freeride ski apparel and accessories
since 2005. The company, started by co-founders Greg Steen and Dan
Abrams, was formed in the Rocky Mountains and now operates out of both
Denver and Tahoe.
