Business people : Scott Sports Hires Colleen Gilligan as New Outdoor Marketing Coordinator

SCOTT Sports USA announced that Colleen Gilligan has accepted the position of outdoor marketing coordinator for the company.  In this role, Gilligan will work to increase product and brand awareness, oversee PR activities and champion the company's Outdoor web and social media programs.

"We are pleased to have Colleen handling the marketing efforts for our Outdoor Division, which includes technical outerwear, running shoes, winter softgoods and Garmont outdoor shoes.  The products that make up SCOTT's Outdoor collection have seen consistent growth, so Colleen was a timely and critical addition for coordinating our marketing efforts in Outdoor," said Adam Greene, U.S. marketing manager.

Gilligan has worked with SCOTT Sports for more than two years as the sales and product coordinator and brings with her a strong background in sales, marketing and understanding of SCOTT's product lines.  Gilligan, an outdoor enthusiast herself, will assist in the overall growth of SCOTT Sports, and specifically the Outdoor Division.

"It's very exciting to have assumed this new position with SCOTT Sports at a time when the company is uniquely positioned for exceptional growth," said Gilligan.  "This is the ideal situation for me to leverage my sales and product experience to help build the market share for SCOTT's technical outerwear and running product as well as for Garmont."
