Sport event : Verde PR & Consulting Announces Events Planning and Management Division

Celebrating more than 12 years as a leading brand communications agency, Verde PR & Consulting formally launched a new events planning and management division: Verde Events. Integrating with existing Verde service divisions in brand communications, marketing, social media/digital and Content Solutions, Verde will now provide event planning, management and execution for a range of projects targeting media as well as consumers.

Over the past decade, Verde has planned a wide variety of events, including press trips, media suites, store openings, promotional events, races and expos in North America, Europe and Asia. Verde launched its first event at Outdoor Retailer in 2003, with the goal of engaging media in an experiential environment, ultimately giving media practitioners more perspective about Verde’s client partner brands and products.

“Our agency’s experience gained through years of organizing individual events for clients as well as larger agency initiatives, coupled with client demand, made investing in and launching a formalized events division an obvious next step,” said Kristin Carpenter-Ogden, Verde CEO and founder. “Experiential events have always been part of Verde’s DNA and through our Verde Events division launch, we’ve invested in a seasoned team of pros focused on raising the bar for best-in-class events for media and end consumers in our markets of focus.”

Verde’s signature brand communications service approach centers on integration, which enables Verde to maintain a consistent voice throughout every point of entry for its clients’ brands and products. Verde’s experiential events will further build and grow communities of brand advocates for clients and extend the reach of the messaging and positioning to new audiences.

“From storytelling to brand positioning and experiences, our team understands the importance to curate and empower a brand’s authentic voice,” said Carpenter-Ogden. “Bringing this voice alive through cleverly planned experiences and events leaves a lasting, meaningful impression with event participants ranging from media influencers to brand evangelists to potential new retailers and consumers.”

Verde’s dedicated events planning team has the creativity, network, proficiency and integrated promotional perspective and skill set necessary for all aspects of event planning and management. Promotion is a key element for event success, and that ties directly into Verde’s daily work in a variety of different facets of communication.

Verde works closely to further brands’ overall communications and marketing goals, and over the past 12 months, Verde has organized successful media events in Boulder and New York City. Also this past year, Verde has planned experiential events on behalf of K2 Skis and Snowboards, Atlas and Tubbs Snowshoes, Ibex, Julbo, Wolverine and TransRockies Run.

"Verde’s team consists of experts in outdoor industry communications, including outdoor events,” said Aaron McConnell, President TransRockies Events. “We were very impressed with their work on the GORE-TEX® TransRockies Run, where they drove substantial earned media value around the event and helped us to build a legendary event brand through vibrant story development and engaged media relationships."
