Business news : Hammerhead Bicycles Now a Standalone Brand

An Oklahoma-based bicycle brand is now a standalone brand.

Tulsa, OK (PRWEB) May 21, 2013
Representatives with Hammerhead Bicycles announced today that their re-launched bike brand has been such a success that the company has achieved its overall goal of becoming a standalone brand.

“Our re-launch plan from day one was to move Hammerhead Bicycles from a house brand to a standalone bike brand,” said Company Spokesman and President Scott Robertson.
Robertson explained that the bike shop will go forward as Switchback Bikes and continue to exclusively focus on all things 29er and 650b.

“The bike shop will continue to offer premier 29er and 650b products from Niner Bikes, Lynskey Performance, Intense, and others,” Robertson stressed.

Hammerhead Bicycles will continue to strengthen their status as a standalone bike brand with future model introductions to stand beside the 120x,” Robertson noted, before adding, “Switchback Bikes will continue bike shop operations as they have under Hammerhead Bicycles.”

Robertson went on to add that he’s excited to continue overseeing the bike shop business and is looking forward to continuing the success that the company is experiencing in the 29er and 650b marketplace.

As to why big wheel lovers have connected to the shop, Robertson said, “The bike shop has worked hard to have consumers actively participate in the business with fun giveaways like the Guess The Weight Wednesday contests on our Facebook Page, having an open-door policy for customer input and suggestions, and believing and strongly supporting the 29er and 650b lifestyle. This will continue to evolve and grow.”
