Timberland announced Timo Schmidt-Eisenhart as vice president and general manager for Timberland Europe. He will take up the responsibility starting June 25. Schmidt-Eisenhart previously worked at The North Face where since 2007, first as European sales director and then general manager for Europe a role which was directly responsible for driving brand and commercial growth across multiple European markets. Before this, Schmidt-Eisenhart spent eight years with Nike where he held several senior product and commercial roles both at a regional and headquarters level.
Schmidt-Eisenhart will be reporting directly to Richard O’Rourke, Timberland SVP International.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Timo to the Timberland team. He will be leading Timberland’s European growth strategy and brand positioning in line with our long-term plans. His wealth of knowledge within the European market place and his experience within both VF and Nike will be a huge asset to the company,” said O’Rourke.
Timberland is a wholly owned subsidiary of VF Corporation, which is also the parent of The North Face.
