Golf & Tennis Pro Shop Inc of Roswell ( USA), Ga. has raised another $7 million in equity from investors on top of $9 million raised a year ago, according to filings with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
Golf & Tennis Pro Shop operates 14 PGA TOUR Superstores in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois and South Carolina.
The retailer is majority owned by AMB Group LLC, which is the
parent company for the Atlanta Falcons. AMB Group is owned by Arthur M.
Blank, the retired co-founder of Home Depot. AMB Group and the
Atlanta-based venture capital firm Noro-Moseley Partners have been
significant investors in Golf & Tennis Pro Shop since 2004 and 2005,
respectively.
