Sport event : Gerber Joins Sponsorship Team for GoPro Mountain Games

Portland, Ore. – (May 13, 2013) Gerber, a leading global supplier of knives, tools and activity-specific gear, today announced its partnership with the GoPro Mountain Games. The country’s premier celebration of mountain sports, lifestyle and music, the GoPro Mountain Games run June 6-9, in Vail, Colorado, and align perfectly with Gerber’s Unstoppable campaign and rich brand heritage.

As the official knife and multi-tool sponsor of the GoPro Mountain Games, Gerber will exhibit at the event’s “Gear Town” showcasing the brand and its products alongside the company’s tricked out all-terrain vehicle nicknamed the “Black Boar.”  Gerber has also partnered with GearJunkie.com, one of the outdoor industry’s most respected sources for news and product reviews, to present a one of a kind media experience around the GoPro Mountain Games.

Dubbed ‘Live at the Games’, this new content channel aims to be the most comprehensive media source at the GoPro Mountain Games and will feature interviews, original videos and race results. Edited live at the event, and enabled through innovative Brandlive communications software, ‘Live at the Games’ will be broadcast from Vail Village at the Gerber booth throughout the four-day event.
