Kitsbow, maker of exceptional mountain bike clothing, announces the release of the Drifter Jean – a classic denim pant with refinements tailored to cyclists. Heritage and style meet function in this latest addition to the Kitsbow collection.
“In September, Kitsbow launched the limited edition Icon Shirt,
a throwback to mountain biking’s beginning of flannel shirts and
jeans,” explained Charlie Cronk, Kitsbow designer and co-founder.
“Similar to the Icon, the Drifter Jean echoes the heritage of the sport
with modern style updates.”
The slim-fit Drifter Jean is based on traditional, five-pocket
classic denim with obsessive touches inspired by tailored menswear.
Select interior seams are finished with a binding to create a clean
look, while the interior gusset, modeled after vintage tailored suit
pants, makes for a comfortable seat.
The denim is made of cotton blended with Cordura® and Lycra® for
additional durability and a subtle stretch. Built with extra room around
the thighs and articulated leg shape for the cycling position, the
Drifter Jean is crafted for the rider to comfortably pedal and explore.
Extra room around the thighs, curved, anatomic shaping in the waist, and
a crescent-shaped seam around the knee create articulation for riding. A
reflective print on the inside of the back left leg enhances visibility
after the sun has set.
Founded in 2012, Kitsbow continues to expand on its collection. The company recently unveiled the Front Range Sweatshirt, another staple in the line that will make a rider’s favorite mountain bike clothing his favorite anytime clothing.
With unabashed style and technical excellence, Kitsbow celebrates the
joy and passion of mountain biking by creating the world’s finest
mountain bike clothing. Offering high-performance apparel developed by
mountain bikers for mountain bikers, the California-based company
prioritizes quality, value and the belief that anything that’s done
should be done with the absolute best of what’s available.
