Business news : Native Eyewear Creates Partnership with MiiR

Denver, CO (May 1, 2013) - Native Eyewear and MiiR recently created a partnership to help provide clean water for those who need it most. In a “gift with purchase” campaign, Native Eyewear purchasers will also receive a MiiR water bottle and provide one person with clean, safe drinking water for a year.

Beginning May 1, 2013, the partnership between Native and MiiR takes form at select retail partners. Both brands are committed to 6000 units which equivocates 2-3 projects in Liberia.

“Our commitment to 6000 water bottles allows MiiR to build 3 water wells in countries throughout Africa,” says Kevin Karch, Vice President of Sales for Native Eyewear. “We'll be starting the offering on May 1st and it will run through the spring and summer while supplies last. We know water is an important part of life, especially on those days where you're hiking a mountain, biking a trail and you need to quench your thirst – we often take it for granted. Nearly a billion people struggle to survive everyday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. This partnership is a way for us to help.”
