Business news Saint-Mandrier ( France), Couach relaunches its project site dedicated to the maintenance and yachts refit

Delay of eighteen months, but not abandoned the project of transforming the former Naval Air Station St. Mandrier (Var in Toulon harbor, France ) is revived by the Couach group.

The project includes the Gujean Mestras site as such and two subsidiaries: YSEC created with the Finnish manufacturer of luxury yachts Nautor Swan, which is then removed, and IMS,  maintenance and refit  site of yachts located close to Port-Pin-Rolland, also in the municipality of Saint-Mandrier.

These three entities owned by Couach group, now owned by Nepteam, a holding company created by the former head of Converteam, Florent Battistella. The urban community of Toulon might be associated with the project, discussions are ongoing.

The new role of the former military base should be a reality in 2014. Couach will have important local areas and on land (5 sheds 15 meters high) and a lift of 600 tonnes against 320 tonnes in the Port-Pin-Rolland. Fifty jobs must be created.
