Job offer : Puma search his Team Head Product Line Manager (Apparel - Running & Training)

The job is located in Herzogenaurach with PUMA’s International Apparel Product Management team.

Reporting to the Head of PLM & Merchandising Apparel Performance and has responsibility for two full-time as well as one part-time employee (all based in Herzogenaurach).

Key Responsibilities    Accountable for the Product Management of the lines within the Performance business field


   - Build and manage a profitable and efficient Apparel Performance business
    -To develop ranges/products, which satisfy the needs of Puma subsidiaries and Puma partners and     ensure concepts/ranges/products are target consumer, target customer and brand relevant
   - Liaise with International Product Team Members, Retail, PUMA Retail System, Business Unit Management, Key Account Management and Merchandising to discuss their requirements and frequently ask for input and feedback
   - Carry out regular market visits and trade shows
   - Manage the product lines through a process of line planning, internal design and development meetings until prototype approvals and launching the lines at the international meeting
    -Prepare line strategy and ensure the formulation of product briefs, develop line lists, set price points and Free on Board-targets, margins, volume forecast
   - Ensure accurate and on-time development of seasonal catalogue
   - Liaise with product marketing with regards to all marketing related projects
  -  Work closely with Business Unit Management, the footwear and accessories department to ensure concept and product coordination across all product segments

 Skills & Experience Required

   - College/University degree in Business Management
    -Minimum of 5-7 years experience within an international sporting goods company
   - Experience in Product Management Apparel and Merchandising
   - Knowledge of the market is necessary
    -Very good skills in analyzing business, market and consumer insights
    -Strong leadership skill
    -Structured and aim driven function
   - Experience with presentations of sport / training collections within a company and face to face with externals like Key Accounts, media, etc.
    -Very good verbal and written communication skills
   - Excellent verbal and written English language skills
    -Flexibility and organisational skills
