New products : Hurley Debuts First Ever Women's Phantom Sandal

Innovative sandal featuring Nike Free technology launching in mid-November.

Today, Hurley announced the release of the first-ever women’s Phantom Sandal. On the heels of the successful men’s sandal, designers collaborated with the Nike team to create a women’s version that offers all the superior design elements of the original men’s Phantom Sandal, but made for her.

The women’s Phantom Sandal was designed to work with the body’s mechanics. It features the Nike Free sole, which enables natural motion, and is combined with a breathable and washable upper. The EVA footbed also molds to the foot, creating a custom fit and ultimate comfort.
“We really wanted to ensure the fit was perfect, and spent a great deal of time with consumers and Nike footwear experts to meet this expectation,” said Hurley VP of Innovation Bruce Moore. “Another thing we focused on was balancing innovation, performance and aesthetics.”
“The women's version has slimmer straps, a sleek profile, robust color, and we also made sure that the cushioning, barefoot attributes and comfort was maintained,” Moore continued.  “After two seasons of great success with the men's Phantom Sandal, it's exciting to extend the platform to the women's market.”

The sandal will be offered in six colors and available in stores and on www.hurley.com in mid November — just in time for the holidays.
