Background
TaylorMade combines three of golf's strongest brands: TaylorMade, adidas Golf and Ashworth. More than just clothing and products, they deliver golf-specific equipment created around scientific evidence of what promotes improved athletic performance. Key Responsibilities
Advertising
- Work with Head of Consumer Marketing and media agency to create a pan European media plan.
- Coordinate traffic flow for all advertising creative material with design agency
- Formulating traffic systems and processes to improve our time to market with creative
- Monitoring creative expenditure and analyzing potential cost savings
Internet / Intranet & Social Media
- Responsible for managing the updates to European brand sites and platforms with direct reports and digital agency, Purestone: taylomadegolf.eu, adidasgolf.com and ashwortheurope.com and our consumer e-communications platform, TMaG Players Club.
- Responsible for managing the relationship with the agency responsible for digital asset management tool - Mediabank
- Development and implementation of Social Media strategy across all brands with direct reports.
Internal / Company communications
- Develop an internal Communications plan, keeping TMaG Europe up-to-date with other adidas Group activities and providing TMaG Europe information into the Group.
PR Plan and Execution
- Work with the internal PR team to create, manage, execute and evaluate all pan – European PR activities and events for all brands
- Attendance at key press launches and events / representing the company where necessary
- Liaising with PR agency M&C Saatchi in conjunction with the internal PR team
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Good knowledge of golf, the company’s product range and key technologies
- Understanding of the company’s objectives, strategy and targets
- Complete understanding of the product and marketing plans within each financial year
- Ability to work with senior members of the TMaG Team
- Ability to understand strategic marketing thinking
- Ability to manage and deliver against set targets and objectives
- Good understanding of the media buying process
- Good understanding of the digital marketing process including social media
- Good understanding of PR, processes, tools and impact
- Ability to manage and motivate individuals to achieve business objectives
- University degree
- Experience of managing a team to achieve business objectives
- Ability to communicate effectively with outside suppliers and internal personnel at a high level
- A team player with convincing social competencies
- A good organiser, strong in follow-up with keen eye for detail
Desired
- Additional European language
- Four years experience within advertising, production, digital communication, account management and/or PR within an agency or in-house department
