New product : TAVIK x LA RIOTS Jacket Collaboration

Irvine, CA – October 8, 2013 - TAVIK, an original lifestyle brand cultivated from Modern Beach Culture, announces a jacket collaboration with Daniel Linton, the legendary DJ behind LA RIOTS.  TAVIK and LA RIOTS have designed a contemporary and versatile faux leather varsity style jacket, lined with a custom LA RIOTS print.  This limited-edition jacket will be available starting October 15 at select retailers nationwide.

Daniel Linton, one of music industry’s most influential electro artists, has worked hand-in-hand with TAVIK’s design team to launch the premium varsity style jacket.  The TAVIK x LA RIOTS varsity jacket is designed to be tonal black on black.  It is made up of a faux wool body, complimented by textured faux leather sleeves.  The interior is satin lined with a signature ‘riot’ artwork.  The jacket is finished off with a collaborative TAVIK x LA RIOTS leather stamp patch on the interior placket.  Transitioning from day to night, the collaboration jacket can be paired with the everyday jeans and t-shirt to dressed up knits or dress shirts for a night out.

“Couldn’t be happier with the collaboration I’ve done with TAVIK. I didn’t want to just make T-shirts with our logos on it. The detail and thought that went into the jacket is amazing from the material quality to the leather lettering on the inside lapel. Both LA RIOTS and TAVIK are deeply rooted within the music community, so the apparel collaboration was a natural progression. “It’s an honor to be working with someone who has shaped the music that inspires our clothing collections and daily life”, says TAVIK’s creative director Mark Powell.”

The LA RIOTS jacket retails for $150 and is sold alongside a complete modern collection from TAVIK’s Men’s Holiday 2013 assortment. The limited edition jacket is available at select retailers, including Zebra Club, Jacks, Karmaloop, Swell, and a few other boutiques, as well as online at shop.tavik.com.
